Good news, everyone!
JB 70 has ended with 3 graduates and one of the largest-attended celebrations for their completion of the program. Friends, family, and peer support came in to show their love and appreciation for everyone who stuck through it. As an added bonus, attendees watched their support-ees (that’s a word today) give final presentations on subjects of their choice. Everyone present learned about GMOs, an overview of what “Nutrition” means as a science and how it’s applied in our daily lives, and the connection between mental health and digestive health.
And, as if that wasn’t the best part…
Each participant in JB 70 was tasked with baking an original recipe and explaining their methods, their ingredient choices, and the science behind it. Then, they shared their oven goodness with the audience.
There was Antwain’s butter-pecan bundt cake.

There was David’s low sugar double chocolate zucchini bread.

There was “Quiche Demone”, named after its fearless baker, loaded with ham and veggies.

There was absolute deliciousness!
Overheard at graduation:
“Oh my goodness this is AMAZING”
“The onion in this quiche actually melts away. I love it!”
“Is there more??”
I, blogger and JB 70 participant David sincerely thank everyone who has followed along with our journey through the trials and successes of this wonderful program. Keep on! Come back! There will be more sessions!
