All good things must crumb to an end

The first class of the year has graduated! We are sad to see them go but so proud of all the hard work they put it. They’ve each had their challenges but made it through and are fantastic bakers.

Today we got to try their final projects they have been tinkering and working on their recipes all week. Jerriesene’s cupcakes had just the perfect amount of almond flavor and were balanced nicely with homemade whipped cream. Zeke’s chocolate custard pie had a wonderful hint of cinnamon and raspberry on top. Javonte’s strawberry cheesecake was just the right amount of sweet with fresh strawberry jam on top. And Peter’s gluten sensitive apple muffins were soft and cinnamon-y. All-in-all it was a great last day and we can’t wait to see what is next for each of them!
