Hello Friends of Just Bakery, can you believe that we are already almost to the end of June?! This summer is going by really fast and this is the last week of Just Bakery Class 54 being in the classroom. Starting next week they will be starting they’re third month of the program which means that they are completely done with the classroom aspect and are only working in the bakery for the final month.
Which means that a BRAND NEW class will be starting on July 5th. If your feeling stuck and looking for something to catapult your life forward in a positive way and to help you move to the next level, then come check us out. We still have openings and will be accepting applications for our program until THIS FRIDAY 6/24/2022. We would love to see you!
We had such a HUGE order for one of our bakery clients, we had to make 5,000 ice cream sandwiches! So it was ALL hands on deck, we even had to put our intern to work! But those ice cream sandwiches were made with so much love we hope you enjoy them.
We are now at the Hilldale Farmers Market on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 8am to 1pm. There are a LOT of other amazing stands that are also at the farmer’s market so come out and get some baked goods, we sold out right away this last Saturday so we will make sure to bring a lot more this week. Dogs are welcome as long as they’re on a leash. So come out and spend some money for a good cause while getting to eat some awesome food.
Our Cinnamon Rolls are so good they melt in your mouth, you barely even have to use your mouth muscles to chew. They will be at the famer’s market this week along with all of our cookies, scones, turtle brownies, and quick breads.
The mission of JustDane has always been to inspire hope and create change at the individual level and community level. JustDane would not be where it is today without the wonderful people who participate in, and give life to, its programs. Tyrees Scott is one of these people. He is the embodiment of hope, change, and perseverance. Born in Chicago and raised in Madison, Wisconsin, Tyrees dealt with struggles while growing up, and as a young man he was incarcerated. Despite tribulations after his release from prison, Tyrees decided it was time to change his life around. He made a promise to himself that he would not end up incarcerated again, and he has lived up to exactly that.
