Check in with JB 55!

Our Student of JB Class 55 is passing all of his exams!  I joked around that he could probably teach me ServSafe, but just because it’s a joke doesn’t mean it isn’t true!  We are so very proud of Ben, with keeping up with all of his homework is a huge accomplishment but to also be able to pass every exam with flying colors!

Ben just started his first week in the Kitchen, which means that we are now in the second month of the program.  I can’t wait to see how he excels outside of the classroom setting.

On Friday we had a special Yoga class with Miss Iris because she brought her magical instruments and was able to give us an amazing gong bath, which breaks up the stagnant energy stuck in your body.  I always feel more in tune with my body after we get to spend time with Miss Iris doing YAFA (yoga accessible for all.)

We have a lot of EXCITING things going on here around the Bakery:

We have a Fundraiser on Thursday (August 11th) at Kendra Scott Jewelry in Hilldale.  We will have samples of our amazing treats and 20% of all jewelry sales between 4:00 – 6:00 pm will be going to help fund Just Bakery!

There is also an online shopping code for August 11th and 12th and any sales with the code GIVEBACK-CHFLX will donate 20% of the sale to Just Bakery.

What more could you ask for other than melt in your mouth cookies AND jewelry!?

Can’t think of a better way to spend an afternoon!

I can never get enough our Mint Chocolate Chip cookies!  Taste just like mint chocolate chip ice cream.. but in cookie form!  Mind Blown!
